Gore won by MORE than a half a million votes. Those voters were dis-enfranchised by the Electoral College System!

The following is quoted from the U.S. Constitution:
Article Two, Line 327:
Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole
Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative,
or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.
- Each State must enact laws to give their citizens the right to vote to elect The President.
There is nothing in the U.S. Constitution that gives the people the right to vote on the Executive Officers of the United States--The President, and Vice President. - The ELECTORAL COLLEGE was designed to take that vote out of the hands of the people, of the "several" states;
- Each State legislature retains the Constitution's designated right to appoint Electors;
- THE FLORIDA ELECTION MESS is caused by the undemocratic, Electoral College System!!!
Talk about the Electoral College empowering smaller states is BUNK;
The states with more congressmen get more Electors;
This argument is a smoke screen to divert attention away from this non-democratic, aristocratic, constitutional construction;
ie. Our government has been, rightfully called "A Plutocracy", because Money buys the Elective Office.
This past election proves that money will even buy a dynasty, and purchase the highest office in the land for Daddy's candidate, if backed with enough money.
The ELITE's spending 80 million dollars on GW, just in the primaries, proves that enough money will buy any office.
