Bush's Lies corrupt his Ultimatum Speech,
to start an Un-necessary War.
Old-line Conservatives call the "Bush League" leaders, Neo-Conservatives.

We, older Americans, who lived through the Nazi's War of Aggression and its propaganda machine, call them Neo-Fascists.

He CANNOT JUSTIFY Making America an AGGRESSOR NATION, so he lies repeatedly.

Here are Eight Outrageous Lies, from his "Get Out of Town, Saddam" Speech:

Bush Lies-

  1. The regime has a history of reckless aggression in the Middle East. It has a deep hatred of America and our friends and it has aided, trained and harbored terrorists, including operatives of Al Qaeda. The danger is clear: Using chemical, biological or, one day, nuclear weapons obtained with the help of Iraq, the terrorists could fulfill their stated ambitions and kill thousands or hundreds of thousands of innocent people in our country or any other.

  2.  America tried to work with the United Nations to address this threat because we wanted to resolve the issue peacefully. We believe in the mission of the United Nations.

  3.  Many nations, however, do have the resolve and fortitude to act against this threat to peace, and a broad coalition is now gathering to enforce the just demands of the world.

  4. The terrorist threat to America and the world will be diminished the moment that Saddam Hussein is disarmed. Our government is on heightened watch against these dangers. Just as we are preparing to ensure victory in Iraq, we are taking further actions to protect our homeland.

  5.  Intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised.

  6. The United States of America has the sovereign authority to use force in assuring its own national security.

  7.  One reason the U.N. was founded after the Second World War was to confront aggressive dictators actively and early, before they can attack the innocent and destroy the peace.

  8.  For the last four and a half months, the United States and our allies have worked within the Security Council to enforce that council's longstanding demands. Yet some permanent members of the Security Council have publicly announced that they will veto any resolution that compels the disarmament of Iraq.

SMOKE & MIRRORS

.  Smoke & mirrors (form) cloak the facts (substance), so no one can see the truth.

Examining the logic in a situation is often helped by boiling each incident--a war is but an incident in the long-range view of the world---to basic syllogisms of logic.

One of the earliest, logical, Christian-era thinkers was Plotinus.  He lived from 205-207 AD.
St Augustine, (354-430 AD ) reasoned against the logic of Plotinus about the world, in his book, "The City of God".  He was rewarded, by the Church,  with sainthood.

Plotinus' legacy is that "One principle must make the universe a single, complex, living creature, one from all."  That one principle was Spirit--"God"--to Plotinus.

For instance,  going way back to St. Jerome, certain situations were examined with logic to distill viewpoints that are similar to today's.  Jerome, in a dream, accused himself of being a Ciceronian, not a Christian.

St. Jerome lived between 340 and 420 AD.  The Roman Empire was just beginning to disintegrate.  Christianity was just becoming a formal religion with policies and scriptures, acceptable to the leadership.

Jerome observed: " (As in) the line often adopted by strong men in controversy, of justifying the means by the end."

This was warped by the early Christian Church,  into,  "Yes, the end justifies the means."

Torture can be so justified, if it will save lives, or as some missionaries defined it, "We go to war to save their souls."  The Spanish Inquisition was an outgrowth of such faulty logic.

"What we have here, is a failure to communicate;"  Strother Martin, in , the movie, Hud.

Lies about situations mis-communicate the facts.  Campaigns of lies---smoke & mirrors---lead to  illogical conclusions.

War, in the pursuit of Peace, is an such an example.  The reasoning is, in truth, that of ….."The end is justified by the means."

No matter the smoke & mirrors effect, to start a war is immoral, as defined by centuries of civilized logic.

What is a reality is,  "What goes out, does come back" ,  or "What goes around, comes around."

This is substance, not form.  This defines the "9/11" incident.

The only variant is the amount of time the retribution cycle takes to return full circle.

GOD SAVE AMERICA !!!
