The Law of the Land--The Supreme Court-- ruled that anyone can refuse to associate with a person whose behavior is unacceptable.
Behavior has nothing to do with race or religion.
The Boy Scouts promote specific behavior.
Should they have to accept someone who doesn't measure up to their standards of conduct?
The Homosexual Agenda is gaining ground because most politicians--prosti-ticians-- are bought by special interest's money.
If someone elects to be identified by their choice of sexual behavior, they must accept society's reactions to their self-publicized practices.
The following is a letter to the Editor of the Reno Gazette, which they wouldn't print.
June 7, 2000 -
Dear Editor:
Sir:
Suppose that in the future, the world's scientists discovered
a gigantic meteor on a collision course with Earth. The finding
is a 98% certainty that it would hit the Earth, within two years,
killing all life on the planet.
A world-wide consortium agrees to build escape vehicles, so a small
group, of all races and creeds, could go out into space to colonize
other planets that could support humans. From a group of several
thousand candidates, scientifically chosen, the vehicles could only
accommodate 300 persons. The selection of colonists would be based
on mathematical criteria for the greatest chances for survival of
the human race.
Would the scientists be called "bigots," if they considered a candi-
date's homosexual identity, as a social negative---a disqualifying
characteristic for colonists needed to re-populate a planet?
Would they choose 300 homosexuals--300 negative procreators?
Would they choose even one negative procreator?
Society has always condemned anti-social behavior--behavior that is
opposed to the natural social order. Behavior which, if multiplied
over the total population, threatens the harmony of, or existence of,
society, is negative behavior.
Equating racial discrimination with my civil right to reject someone's
negative behavior is the real bigotry. One's "preference"--choice--of
sexual behavior, has nothing to do with one's race, which is not a choice.
The "mission" of the Boy Scouts of America organization is no different from the "mission" of the space colony project above. Any negative behavior can disrupt the mission.
