Only Citizens Can Make Campaign Contributions.
Why do we allow non-citizens the same rights?
CORPORATE CITIZENS?
Does anyone contest the proposition that corporations dominate the economic, political, social, and cultural environment of the United States?
The fact that these legal entities—corporations---have established themselves, with all the rights afforded individual voters, is not the question. The critically important question is why they can buy votes, while they are not citizens.
Citizens have the right to vote. Corporations do not.
A citizen’s right to vote is a power that is denied to corporations. The Constitution determines the powers that may be exercised by citizens and non-citizens.
Today, rights as citizens are claimed by corporations. This is terribly wrong.
Corporations should be treated as foreigners, who can not vote in the elections of the United States, or within the individual states.
If foreigners gave the cash to political parties and candidates, as do corporations, today, we would be screaming about foreign control. There are laws against foreigners having the same political powers we give corporations.
However, we cannot regulate which corporations, chartered in the U.S., are controlled by foreigners.

We should not allow any corporations to claim the same rights as citizens of the U.S. and/or of the individual states.
No where in the Constitution does it say that corporations have the same political rights that are due to citizens of the individual states, or of the United States.
The disease infecting our election process is corporate domination of campaign finance.
We must deny corporations the right to finance elections just as we deny that right to foreigners.
