An unusal oasis in the area.

This was the largest town in Nevada in the 1860's. There are many things to see here even today.========>

Most of these areas are far enough where camping out, or making do for overnight stays, is the way to travel..

Unfortunately the many buildings that were brick were dismantled for their valuable materials, and carried off, over the years.

A family who came to care for the burial grounds told Bill Trowsdale that they came on their holidays, as they had relatives who used to live in Aurora.
