The old Mining Works. What remains of this plant is more than 2 dozen cribs-shacks that housed the workers and several cabins for managers.

East of the main road into Darwin, another view of the gold maine and old houses and shacks.

About 60 people live in Darwin, full time. Some work in Lone Pine, CA, which is thirty some miles to the west.
