      Graduated in '57. Joined National Guard (reserves) in '56, and after graduation, joined full-time Regular Army, stayed until '66. Performed geophysics research while in the military, with two years in the Artic during international geophysical research events. Live and worked in the Southern Pacific during the event of the artificial aurora over Johnston Island. Lived in New Jersey until '78, when I returned to California.

      After living and working from the Equator to the North Pole, both sides of the International Dateline, I now live in Murrieta, working as a software engineer in Temecula. Married with two girls, one of whom is a pre-teen.

      Class of '57 but left in '56 when family moved to Mojave Desert. Attended St. Joseph's Hawthorne. Air Force enlisted '57-'61, "shade tree" college for 14 years till diploma'd at CSU San Bernardino in '71. Teaching Credentials in '72, community college credentials in '89. Owner/Publisher of Wrightwood Mountaineer (later Mountaineer-Progress) for 29+ years. Sold publishing firm (then three newspapers) in 1990. School Board member, then Community College Trustee for 12+ years. Naval Reserve commission in 1974 as LTjg, serving as public affairs officer. 24 years later, continue to serve with rank of Captain. Most memorable Navy experience was coordinating the commemoration of World War II battles and events in the South Pacific, including Guadalcanal. Continue to work in publication arena, along with teaching in public school system. Married for 16 years, divorced in '86, three wonderful step-kids and spouses, one bubbling grand-daughter and former wife is friend.       Admitted to the Bar in '65. Master in Taxation in '74.
      Tax Counsel for Chevron from '66 to '80, when I went to Natomas Co. as General Tax Counsel. Returned to Chevron in '83 and transferred to the London office as General Counsel in '87.
      Ended up as General Counsel for Chevron's maritime subsidiary until '99 when I retired. Now living with my wife in Philo Calif. part time, S.F. part time and Maui. Having a great life.

      PS-Bob, you might want to suggest to someone at Carmel that donation notices should go out in December. I write my charitable contributions checks at that time, even though I send money to the golf deal. I would have sent more money this year. Just a thought. ---
