CONSTITUENTS ONLY CAMPAIGN FINANCING.
The systemic—root--problem for our Republic is the failure of our Congress to lead against the Power of Money.
Informed people know that trying to restrain “giving” (Read: bribing of Congress by corporations and lobbyists) is unconstitutional.
Someone must champion the only effective way to inhibit “Corpocracy”- by passing a law
against ACCEPTING money from non-voters.
This would restrain corporations and lobbyist’s gifts and outlaw the real bribery,
called “campaign financing”. Such "giving", by corporations, which cannot vote, cancels out the votes
of the congessional district's constituents.
PACS AND CORPORATIONS CAN'T VOTE. IT SHOULD BE UNLAWFUL FOR THEM TO BUY VOTES AS WELL.
Politicians, for all Federal, State, and Local offices, should be deprived of the
ability to accept money from anyone not in their voting district.
“If the Giver Can’t Vote (for you), YOU can’t accept the money.”
THINK ABOUT IT!
IT WOULD:
- Resolve the need for "Campaign Finance
Reform Efforts", ie. "Public Financing", which won't stop corporations or lobbyists' "giving";
- Corporations, PACS, and Special Interest's Lobbyists, can't vote, so
they would be unable to buy "access" (votes);
- Lobbysits could be liable to the IRS,
for money that they collect and give under their own names;
- Require all contributions to be tied to the voters in the officials' own districts;
- This can be implemented State by State, (Blue and RED),
so Congress can't stifle it.
AN IDEA WHOSE TIME HAS COME.!!!
